Something like an airgun Anonymous 07/05/2021 (Mon) 05:09:45 No. 571
I saw them posted elsewhere, years ago, they were available on alibaba/aliexpress. They used compressed gas but had a different name. I remember they had some kind of gas canister attached, but I can't remember what kind of gas. The velocity and kj were extremely high, much higher than any normal airgun I have seen. They were not called airguns, in fact I don't think they had gun in the name at all... Does anyone know what I am talking about?
You're thinking about Air Rifles. Once you get above .22 caliber, they start getting pretty nasty. The best part, is that because they aren't firearms, there's no law regarding owning or tacking them in the ISA..
>>579 It's not though, I remember looking them up and it had some strange name, I think "rail" was part of it maybe. Anyway, there was no "gun" or "rifle" in the name of these things, and they had velocity and KJ comparable to a rifle, much higher than any air rifle I have ever seen or heard of.
