DELET THIS Anonymous 09/19/2019 (Thu) 06:25:35 No. 58 [Reply]
Talmudvision is gross and has nothing to offer our people. The lack of interest from the 'bleeding edge' types currently on the site seems to confirm this - television watchers are followers, not leaders.

I nominate that this board be torn down and replaced with some sort of /diy/, /sci/, /biz/, etc positive contribution board. If you wish to keep 'this' board culture-based, I posit that /lit/ , /art/ , or even /mu/ would be a genuine improvement.

Are television watchers really the kind of people you want to feel welcome on this site?

>Posting visual propaganda made by others hardly counts as "speech"
Not sure what ya mean by broader sense, but pretty sure I strongly disagree with the premise.
Just because I am not the OC of meme or vid, doesn't imply I can't agree with it's message, or use it, even edit it to send a new message of my own.

A board dedicated to OC is a great idea, but would be very small as most people do not have the time, skill, or creativity to make their own content. They sift through hours of vids and gigs of memes, discarding most and latch on to those few that speak to them. And due to the very nature of ideas and memes, you would quickly find many could and will lay claim to OC as their idea first or stolen from someone else.

Even the ideas of ideas are not original as you might think. Nearly all original creations are merely copies and transformations and combinations of earlier ideas "Everything is a Remix" If you have never seen this please watch

It pertains mostly to movies and music, but the remastered version here even touches on memes as we know them now
If you dont feel like a 40min video at this time then just skip to 20:45 to see examples ideas not being wholly original, or
22:45, that illustrates my point of memes being re-invented

>“I invented nothing new. I simply assembled the discoveries of other men behind whom were centuries of work. Had I worked fifty or ten or even five years before, I would have failed. So it is with every new thing. Progress happens when all the factors that make for it are ready, and then it is inevitable. To teach that a comparatively few men are responsible for the greatest forward steps of mankind is the worst sort of nonsense." ― Henry Ford

If /tv/ ever really takes off, I think some threads of remixing will be a great addition
Look up the YouTuber Blackpilled. He literally does just that and does all but name the Jew. He has analyzed a ton of movies.
I know him

Also Bump
You decided to come to this board. You are also a massive faggot. kys
OP it seems like TV is mostly just used as a vague terms for shows and movies in general no matter if it's cable or not. And yes I recognize that even outside of cable a lot is still pretty kosher. Electricity in general is used to promote Jews and sell-outs more than anything at this point.
He's a fag fuck that.

It was a meh/ 10. The movie's portrayal about giving in to nihilism and senseless acts of violence & destruction was pretty dumb, then again it's Hollywood.

Pro tip: anarchy is senseless and destructive that achieves nothing but negatively impacts those who are disenfranchised, BUT focused political organizing and activism to achieve meaningful & worthwhile goals that benefit society at large THAT's what the ruling class/ the powers that be would absolutely hate.
read the site info
Exactly random violence doesn't solve anything (same with Nol Joker.) The infrastructure is the main problem.
But violence is not to be ruled out, just needs to be accurate.

>see Arya Stark gliding down the sidewalk
>like a graceful penguin with gout
>follow her for a block
>working up courage
>gently touch her shoulder
“H-hello, I’m Anon. Y-you’re the prettiest girl I’ve seen all day! W-would you join me for dinner?”
>she spins around nearly smashing me in the balls with an Abercrombie bag
>stares intently for a few moments
>then breaks into a grin that looks like she could eat an apple through a chain link fence
>quickly grab her hand and go into the first restaurant I see that has tablecloths
>she lets out a little giggle that sounds like a horse with it’s leg caught in a wood chipper
>head waiter gives me the stinkeye but leads us to a table
>Arya cocks her head and squints at the menu

Gonna watch it?
Did they end the show? I remember being into it hard before we had to wait like a year for another season. Might get back into it
Nope, but afaik, this will be the last season.
It's called the final season. So, it's probably going to be a final season.
The season 3 finale was called:
"shutdown -r"

So it was quite clear they weren't going to end the show.
One of the worst things I have ever watched. 3rd season goes into overly realistic MK Ultra child abuse and controlling 3 letter agencies through murdering their families.
It's like watching /pol/ being thrown in people's faces solely for entertainment value because nobody will stop them.

Overrated classic movies Anonymous 09/28/2019 (Sat) 07:49:20 No. 77 [Reply]
In memoriam of 8/tv/ let's talk about classic movies or series of movies that critics just can't seem to stop gushing about and if you say you disagree with them on their merits then they will say you are an idiot who don't understand the art of cinema. I'll start with pic related, an overly ambitious adaptation project of a 6-volume novel series that ran for nearly 10 hours and is split into 3 arcs. I know LotR did this too but that was an epic (as in the noun, not the adjective) which would equally appeal to normalfags and neckbeards so of course the trilogy's scale can be justified. On the other hand THC is pretty much full of left leaning political wankery trying to disguise itself as a centrist piece by subtly mocking Chinese and Russian commies but constantly demonizing the IJA and even its regular Japanese soldiers as muh totalitarian fascist monsters. It also tries to romanticize anti-war cuckery via the main character, only redeemed by Tatsuya Nakadai's excellent performance as the main cuck in question, I honestly hated his fucking guts throughout the trilogy. Not only is he a massive hypocrite, he is shown to be also painfully naive, which is probably fitting with his characterization as a socialist and pacifist; although I can't help but feel a bit sad when he finally died alone in the end. Especially because just before he died, he eventually realized that his pacifism has consistently brought him nothing but more misfortune, and he even renounced his leftist bullshit after getting repeatedly BTFO by the commies he loved so much.

The cinematography however is excellent and it is 100% classic Japanese kinomaking, so I guess it is a technically superior series of flicks with an unfortunate variant of masturbative social commentary as its main content. If you look at it as a piece of human drama alone I guess you could also say it's great, but it's obvious that the makers and the ones who shilled this movie and its director were part of the very first Nip hippies.

In all honesty... I think the Seventh Seal is extremely overrated (especially out of Bargeman's whole filmography). Wild Strawberries and Persona (my personal favorite) is significantly better. Perhaps it's one of those films that needs like 3+ viewings and a deep philosophical analysis before understanding it but I just don't have the patience for that.

Not exactly a classic, but I think Gangs of New York is the most overrated Scorsese movie and falls short of just about every film he's ever made.

Both The Seventh Seal and Gangs of New York are still superb films but they fall short of the other films in the directors filmographys. Great thread op, looking forward to others opinions.
do you guys the 7 samurai is overrated? i started to watch it but then i stopped because everything was in Japanese with no subtitles lol.

Download this Anon, get an english srt file and watch it with subtitles lol. Use VLC or a similar video player. 7 Samurai is a must watch, amazing film.
The pacing is a bit too slow in my opinion and I also think Shimura was too laid back in his role while Mifune hamfisted it too much, but that is to be expected from a man who made a career out of hamfisting. I much prefer Yojimbo especially because Nakadai was more prominently featured there.

Ok guys, 4pol recently had a thread like this. What if we tried to get star wars banned in China by making it seem anti-Chinese? For example: Likening the first order to chinese soldiers, likening the resistance to Hong Kong protests, creating hash tags that say "Hope for Hong Kong" with star wars references.
Reply to Celebrities with #StarWarsAgainstChina and ask them if they support the hong kong resistance or not. Post this thread on 4/b/ as I am banned there
